Description
This work is one of my favourites because it defies so many accepted conventions of portraiture. It will look stupendous on your wall and provide great talking points.
Blue Boy at 59 was my first painting to feature a one-stage drawing process after my original #afterretinaldetachment paintings appeared in the Archibald Prize.
The original Blue Boy at 59 (76 x 76cm) is oil on canvas and shadow framed in natural and painted Tasmanian Oak.
It is also available as an open edition archival pigment print with a white border sized at A2 or A3 (to fit off-the-shelf frames).
